URGENT: Reminder from the Marina Manager dated Oct 25 at 2:35 PM
It’s that time of year again. Everyone is packing up and pulling their boats out of the water. We had a great year and can’t wait to see everyone back next year. Its been a trying year with the changes in staffing and management to the water level crisis in both directions. We went from the lowest the water level has been in 25 years to the highest its been in 35. All in the short time of 48 hours. Luckily we made it out with just a few cuts and bruises. The rapid increase in water called for action. We pulled all the small vessels out of harms way and did our best to maintain the anchors for the docks. We had a few casualty anchors but the bulk of the structure held strong. Thank you to everyone that helped out and made that process much easier The water level has now stabilized and we hope to just keep what we have now.
